There’s one sex aid that you must master to have a good love life. You’ll find at least one in just about every home in the city and most people use them daily. That’s right - I’m talking about the telephone.

OK, so you’ve just met a sexy stranger and got their phone number. Now its time to make that crucial first phone call. Are your ready to make a good impression? ‘Cause if your phone technique sucks there’s no way you’re going to get into their pants.

Remember you never get a second chance to make a first impression. So here are a few techniques to ensure you give good phone:

1. Only call when you’re in the mood, never when you’re tired, stressed out or cranky. You need to be mentally sharp and displaying your dazzling personality.

2. Kill the background noise. You want to give and get undivided attention, with no distractions.

3. Dutch courage is not a good idea for the first phone call. Slurring is not sexy or seductive so don’t try to steel your nerves with a few drinks. If you are feeling nervous write a few notes about things you want to say and practice the conversation out loud (I’m not kidding). Also, standing up while you talk will make you feel more relaxed.

4. Don’t eat, chew gum, or smoke while talking.

5. Speak clearly: don’t mumble and don’t start every other sentence with “uh”.

6. Don’t get all sexy. Leave the phone sex until you know each other a bit better.
