It is now a common belief that teaching sells. Who would have ever thought that people would actually want to learn, and that they would seek out learning opportunities in record numbers? When you write an ebook, you have the perfect opportunity to teach others about your topic.

You will make far more money by explaining your ebook than you will by only selling it. If someone is interested enough in purchasing information on the area you are knowledgeable about, they will more than likely also want someone, preferably the author, to explain it to them. You can turn your ebook into an e-course, a series of tips that you deliver through an autoresponder, or teach classes using teleseminars.

Find out if your target audience is interested in learning more about your articles and ebook. You can do this by simply asking them. People will tell you exactly what they want to learn and how they want to learn it. You can ask them in an email, or set up a survey that they can take online. These surveys can be set up easily for free and placed on your website, blog, or in the body of an email. Give away a small gift, such as a special report, to encourage more people to participate in the survey.

Practice teaching your content by speaking to small groups. Service organizations, such as the Rotary clubs, are always looking for new speakers. You can give the audience a handout that describes your material in more detail. Be sure to take questions at the end of your presentation so you can learn more about what they want to know about your topic.

Think about different ways you will be able to teach others about what you have written in your ebook. Then explain it to people for years to come.
