What will the affiliate program do in order to help you promote their product or service? Do they provide banners? text links? Etc. Can you find any recommendations from other affiliate marketers using the same affiliate program you are thinking of join? Bottom line… DO YOUR RESEARCH!

3. Let it be known, there are a lot of dishonest people out there on the Internet! These people have no hesitation in changing your affiliate links (the links that send your visitor from your web page to your affiliate merchant).
