This is a continued list of tips and tricks about car insurance. Some are obvious, some aren’t, some are just common sense. All can help you lower your premiums. Compare quotes
Using a comparison site is an easy way to see the different range of premium prices from more than one insurer.

Take stock
Any changes in your personal circumstances could affect your premium for better or worse, so review your policy regularly and keep your insurer informed of any changes.

Don’t leave gaps
It’s important not to have any gaps in your car insurance history. If you leave yourself uninsured for even a day, you could find yourself on the high-risk list.

SORN
If you’re not going to be driving a vehicle for a while, declare it SORN, get it off the public roads and save the money.

No children
If possible, keep young drivers off your policy as they can add hundreds of pounds to a policy. Teach them the value of money by letting them have their own policy, possibly with you as a named driver to help cut their premium a little.

Move house!
Where you live has a bearing on your premiums. You’re more likely to get cheap car insurance
